With the understanding that Christian writers often have a spiritual gift in operation, these retreats will equip those who may write under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit but have not fully understood their gift. Being a Kingdom-minded writer herself, Kristene understands the emotional make-up of writers and other highly creative people. Often, the writer needs to be healed of life issues that may be holding them back. Although the deep empathy of a writer is what makes them so aware of the need around them, it can also be the thing that stops their creative flow. Sessions that allow healing from trauma will be offered alongside the practicalities of good writing. 8 Owls Publishing will then be offered as a means to publish the God given messages of the retreat participants.
